Old Halifax Road Interpretive Walk

Old Halifax Road/Arnold's Little Lake Road - Friday, October 3, 10:00 am. We'll join Vicki Smith for an interpretive walk along Arnold's Little Lake road from the Glen Haven end and off another branch trail to her cabin. This road is part of the Old Halifax Road system. Along the way she will give a little history of the area including visiting an old saw mill site. We'll also visit a new clear cut area and an "old tea shack" hidden in the woods. Mostly along old dirt roads and forest trails with some hills. Parking is on the side of the Old Halifax Road where the pavement ends. Access Old Halifax Road off Dauphinees Loop in Glen Haven. Approx 5 km. Allow 2 hours.
Carpool from exit 11 carpool lot at 9 am.
