Join us for a cozy and creative winter event hosted by the Joseph Howe Elementary’s School Advisory Council! This Winter Craft Show will bring together local vendors, handmade goods, and plenty of holiday spirit — all while raising money for a much-needed new playground for our youngest students.
Joseph Howe Elementary, located in Halifax’s North End, proudly serves students from Pre-Primary to Grade 5 — many of whom are African Nova Scotian, Indigenous, or newcomers to Canada. Although we have a great play area for students in Grades Three to Five, the play space for the younger children (Pre-Primary to Grade Two) is not optimal. We're aiming to raise $200,000–$300,000 to build the playground they deserve — and this event is our first big step!

Let’s come together as a community to make a difference for our kids. Every dollar raised brings us closer to building a more inclusive place for all our students to play.
