Details:
- No experience needed—everyone welcome
- Meet at the Salter Lot at 7:30 AM to receive supplies (gloves, bags, instructions)
- Volunteers will head out in pairs or solo to cover streets
- Return to the Salter Lot at 8:30 AM to report findings to Jess
- All participants will receive a free Window Strike Kit
What you’ll learn:
- Why birds hit windows & which buildings are most dangerous
- Four steps to help a window-strike victim
- How to record and report downed birds
- Who to call (Hope for Wildlife hotline)
- Ways to prevent future collisions
Participants are encouraged to document their findings with photos and share them with Jess.
Can’t join us that day? You can still sign up to check your own streets. Jess will send confirmation and instructions by email.
