ANNOUNCEMENT🚨📣
Following his successful engagements at the Old Woollen in Farsley, the Malt at Ripponden, and Elland Cricket Club, former FC Halifax Town player and manager, Dave Worthington, will be sharing his memories with you at the Royal Oak on Wednesday 3 December at 19:30!
Dave started his professional career with the Shaymen in the early Sixties, before playing for Barrow, Grimsby and Southend. He returned to The Shay in the Nineties, working in various capacities, including caretaker manager, before taking up scouting roles under Sam Allardyce and Jose Mourinho.
Dave has a host of interesting stories to tell, not least those involving Town legends such as Alex South, Willie Carlin and Eric Harrison! The evening will be co-hosted by Phil Dawkes, who helped write Dave's autobiography 'Worthy', and copies of the book will be available to buy on the night.
Entry is free! Spread the word and let's make it a fantastic night!🙌⚽️
