Dr Inkwell invites you to experience GORGEOUS weather and delicious spirits in Half Moon Bay!

Come meet fun fellow human beings in a BIPOC/LGBTQ+ safe space, enjoy A LOT of dad jokes, make new friends, maybe hug some old friends, and most importantly ADOPT YOUR BOOZEPHREAKS NAME! Or if you had one before the pandemic, grab your name tag----yes we still have them. <3

Join us at women-owned and operated Jettywave Distillery for an amazing afternoon. First, we'll take a tour of the distillery with Dr Inkwell and Head of Operations Kimberlee Weaver. We'll learn how they craft small-batch spirits with eco-conscious practices. In their micro-distillery, we'll see how they make spirits from scratch --- by buying grain, milling and fermenting it, and then distilling the liquid right there.

Then we'll sit for a tasting and talk about their locally sourced ingredients, the garden in which they grow fresh herbs and botanicals, and their local partners in reducing their carbon footprint. We'll taste from their house-made spirits, which includes:

• Barrel-Finished California Botanical Gin

• Distiller's Select Bourbon
• Maritime Single Malt Whiskey
• House-Made Absinthe

Like something in particular? You can make a purchase on site at the end of the tour!

Afterwards, you'll get a drink from their cocktail menu and enjoy a little social time. That's right, a cocktail is also included in your admission ticket! Here's a sample menu from their cocktail program:

DO YOU HAVE A NAME?

At Dr Inkwell's distillery tours, one of the funnest parts is coming up with a "Boozephreaks Name" like "Dr Inkwell." Think of it as cocktail drag---the fusion of pun, camp and booze. Use it to show off your pun mastery or to stay anonymous, if you like. Some of my favorite names are: Graham Marnier, Gina Tonik, Margie Rita, etc. If you need inspiration, I can provide. :)

ABOUT DR INKWELL

Dr Inkwell has been the guest speaker & mixologist at the Exploratorium’s Science of Cocktails, the Spirits and Cocktails segment host on local TV show CHNnow, Spirits Consultant (and actual card) on the New York Times 2023 favorite board game “Distilled: A Spirited Strategy Game," and runs the Boozephreaks social media channels on YouTube, Instagram and Tiktok. He’s excited to share his passion for the science, history and craft of making incredible cocktails, as his motto states: “I don’t want you to drink more, I want you to drink well.”
