Topic: What Kind of Jobs Will Your Children Have


With over 25 years in the tech industry, Nuno has worked with teams and innovators across the globe. He served as an operator, entrepreneur, and senior leader at McKinsey & Co., and founded and built two venture capital firms. Through these roles, he's directly invested in three unicorns—valued at over $1B—and three decacorns—exceeding $10B. Nuno also co-founded and co-host decipheredshow.com, a podcast ranked in the top 3% worldwide.

Communications strategist and the Board Chair of Fairplay, a nonprofit organization leading national advocacy to hold Big Tech accountable for children's well-being. She earned her PhD from Stanford University with a dissertation that used the business of Victorian publishing as a case stufy in how market forces shapes culture and cultural production. She went on to teach Victorian literature and “big ideas” courses like “Alienation,” “Evil,” and “Technological Visions of Utopia” at the University of Chicago, Duke, and Stanford. Her recent research explores everything from the impact of mediated communication on trust to AI bias in schools to how gaming platforms like Roblox shape development, identity, and belonging. Currently, Criscillia is writing a book aimed at a popular audience about how online communications technology impacts personal and professional relationships. She calls it “The Tech Between Us.”
