The Godmother & other legends with Julian Garner

THE GODMOTHER & OTHER LEGENDS
features true stories of growing up in a secret society of women in 1950s and 60s England, as remembered and told by Julian Garner.

Garner is an award-winning British playwright based in Finland. His plays have been widely performed in Europe, North America and beyond. From 1981 to -98 Garner lived and worked in Norway.

He also directs, focusing mainly on the work of new and emerging playwrights. The Godmother & Other Legends is his first experience as a storyteller.

The programme is unscripted. The selection and order of stories will vary between performances.
