Kokua Saturdays

Join us for Kōkua Saturday, our monthly community workday at Hāmākualoa Kūʻaiwi. This is a hands-on, family-friendly morning focused on caring for the land and giving back together.

Volunteers will help with light land stewardship projects such as trash removal, mulching, planting, and general mālama ʻāina work. No experience needed — just bring a willingness to help, closed-toe shoes, sun protection, and water. Tools and guidance are provided.

This is a great way to connect with community, spend time outdoors, and support the ongoing care of this special place. Come for the whole time or just part of the morning — every bit of kōkua makes a difference.
