About the Haida Gwaii Surfing Society:
The Haida Gwaii Surfing Society was created to celebrate our love for the ocean. We want to help provide an inclusive environment for people of all skill levels, all ages and all genders to surf and enjoy being in the water through gatherings and opportunities to surf together. With some fundraising, we hope to be able to build out more surf programming; making gear, mentoring and coaching available in the future. The intention of this event is to make space for less represented genders in the line up.
