WTM Long Run Christmas Edition

When : Sunday 7th December

Time : Meeting at 8:45am for 9am start

Meeting : Brosscroft, Hadfield, Glossop, SK13

Distance : 9.3 miles / 15 km

Total Elevation : 1697 ft / 517 m

Pace : Social / Conversational (no runner left behind)

Terrain : Mixed - Rocky hard-packed & some muddy trails

Difficulty : Challenging

Kit : Suitable running kit (waterproof may be required), trail shoes are highly recommended, food & water

Our festive celebrations continue with a long run from Hadfield! We’ll set off from Brosscroft and make our way down to Bottoms Reservoir, following the reservoir-side path around Bottoms and Valehouse Reservoir. From the dam, we’ll head up to Tintwistle Moor and over to Crowden, before rejoining the chain of reservoirs and heading back to Hadfield for mulled wine and treats at a WTM’er’s home. Run and tasty treats, what more could you ask for? 🎄✨👟
