We’re gathering for our final Quiet Reading Club of the year at the warm and welcoming in Hackensack on Thursday, December 11th from 6:30–8:30 PM.

Marimba Cafe has become one of our favorite places to host, every visit feels like coming home. Their hospitality, cozy ambiance, and incredible menu make it the perfect spot to wind down before the holiday rush. Come savor a Coquite Latte, Waffle Bono, Wrap de Pollo, or one of their refreshing Jugos Frescas while you settle in with your book.

Quiet Reading Club is simple: bring whatever you’re reading (a novel, memoir, poetry, or graphic novel - anything goes!), order a drink or bite, and enjoy a couple hours of calm, cozy reading time in community.

Evening Schedule:
🕡 6:30 – 7:00 PM – Arrive, grab food/drinks, find your cozy reading spot
📖 7:00 – 8:00 PM – Quiet Reading Hour
💬 8:00 – 8:30 PM – Optional social time
