The Emergency Services Expo and Family Fun Day is aligned with the statewide Get Ready Queensland Week campaign (6–12 October 2025) and will offer education and entertainment, as well as provide tips and tools to help the community prepare for how to stay safe before, during, and after severe weather events.
The afternoon will bring the community together to meet first responders, check out emergency vehicles and demonstrations, and enjoy rides, kids’ activities, entertainment and a free community BBQ.
With recent hailstorms, an unexpected earthquake, and Ex-Tropical Cyclone Alfred impacting our region already this year, it’s so important to ensure you and your family are prepared, especially as summer approaches.
