10 YEARS!!!
The GermanFest Car Show is hosting it's 10th Anniversary this year!
As the GF Veterans know, the GermanFest Car Show is only a small part of all things that are GermanFest! Anything German-made is welcome to enter!
We will have an entry fee of $15 this year! THERE ARE NO PRE-PAY ENTRIES! Scammers hound small shows like this, DO NOT send anyone money on FB Messenger no matter what! Day of show payment ONLY! This is to protect you and the show we love! ❤️
We will have Registration Cards and Awards again!!! Traditionally we've had Awards for "Germanfest Favorite", "Best Air Cooled", "Best Watercooled", "The Rubbernecker", "Best Sounding Exhaust" for Air and Water Cooled!, "Gravel Grazer", and "Crowd favorite" will be available! And likely others!
Judging will start at 11am and Awards will be at 1pm. Attendees are welcome to stay as long as they like after Awards as parking has been reserved and closed off for them!
Germanfest also includes an open air arts and crafts market, beer garden, homemade beer tasting, lots of live music, food trucks and vendors, a 5K walk/run, kids' games, kids' mini-train ride, chalk drawing, wiener dog races, and much more! There's a whole host of free, fun and family friendly entertainment for everyone!
More info will be released periodically as the event gets closer! There is lodging within Guttenberg's city limits and also plenty of additional lodging within 45mins away in Dubuque! The drive from Dubuque to Guttenberg is EXTREMELY enjoyable for those liking curvy roads and Midwest scenic views!
We typically have a "Cruise" we put together for those that want to follow to the event early Saturday morning from Dubuque! Another "Cruise" will likely take place after the show from Guttenberg to Potosi to Dubuque as well! Hope to see you all there!
