The Anticlub Session

Anti-club is an initiative by WMX to set the narrative of inclusive party spaces in India. In some ways it’s a musical revolution to let people come as they are. 

Anti-club started during Covid lockdown with the idea of creating a safe space for dancers to connect and move freely. Dancers add character through music; they bring uplifting energy to any room and help people connect movement to music. However dancers rarely feel like they belong in the current party scenarios. Through Anti-club we want to stamp out this gap and let dancers embrace their creativity. During the lockdown WMX conducted regular dance sessions with small audiences at studios and open spaces in Delhi; and the overwhelmingly positive response made us extend this effort beyond dancers. Anti- club became an open space for all and inclusivity has been one of the main legs of this movement. People are welcome irrespective of age class and gender and there is zero tolerance for any kind of discriminating behavior from/for any member of this community.
