Join us for a day at the Vikings camp in the beautiful woodland space in Bramley , Surrey, where you will learn all of the skills needed to carve your own wooden spoon.
Spoon carving has ancient roots: the word spoon comes from the 'anglo-saxon' word 'spon', meaning chip of wood.
Materials, tools and tutoring are included, and refreshments (drinks) will be provided. You're welcome to bring your own packed lunches.

"...it was so much fun and very therapeutic! The pace was great, the knowledge given was super and despite using sharp objects the safety briefing was good but without treating us like idiots. Love the space and would def do another one."
With a maximum of eight per course spaces are limited, allowing step by step teaching you how to select your wood, how to hold and use axes and hook knives to shape your very own spoon.
Cost £25 per person (materials inc.)
