STIPE: A Celebration of REM - The Boileroom, Guildford

R.E.M. was a pioneering American rock band formed in 1980 in Athens, Georgia, featuring Michael Stipe (vocals), Peter Buck (guitar), Mike Mills (bass, keyboards, vocals), and Bill Berry (drums). They are considered one of the first alternative rock bands to achieve mainstream success. The band disbanded amicably in 2011, leaving a profound legacy in rock and alternative music.
