Using specially designed poles, Nordic walking works the upper and lower body together, improving fitness, posture and overall wellbeing – all while being gentle on joints.
This 2-hour Learn to Nordic Walk workshop will teach you the correct technique so you can:
- Get more from your everyday walks
- Improve strength, balance and posture
- Enjoy a low-impact, effective workout
- Walk independently or join organised group walks
Suitable for all ages and abilities – no previous experience needed. Poles are provided.
After the workshop, you’ll be able to join regular Surrey Striders group walks around the Surrey Hills, or simply enjoy Nordic walking in your own time.
