Heavy Lungs are a Bristol-based post-punk band known for their raw energy, gritty sound, and chaotic live shows. Formed in 2017, the band features Danny Nedelko on vocals—yes, that Danny Nedelko, the muse behind the IDLES’ anthem of the same name. They have shared stages with their comrades, Idles as well as John, The Oh Sees and Metz
The band are now touring their explosive, furiously fun and unique brand of punk extensively across the UK and Europe. Fresh off the back of their 2023 critically acclaimed debut album 'All Gas No Brakes' released with Alcopop! records, they have gone on to receive significant attention from the likes of Steve Lamacq and Iggy Pop. Heavy Lungs is a rock'n'roll sandwich you didn't know you needed, but now it's in your lunchbox every day. Tinnitus or a relentless earworm for days to come, a Heavy Lungs show is one to remember.

Support comes from Joe & the Shitboys a gloriously chaotic punk band from the Faroe Islands, proudly queer, vegan, and unrelentingly provocative. 🔥 Live shows? Total mayhem. They’ve played everywhere from rooftops and skateparks to public toilets and museums. Their flamboyant frontman, Joe Shit, is known for roasting the audience mid-set, and the band’s energy has earned praise from Iggy Pop, NME, and BBC Radio 6 Music
Opening the evening are Skunkworm who are a four-piece band from Guildford that dives headfirst into post-punk and punk chaos—with a twist. They cite influences like The Cure, At The Drive-In, and Black Midi, but they’re not ones to sit still musically or physically. Their sound is constantly evolving, and their live shows are known for being anything but tame.
