Restoring the River: Community Event

Join Redwood Coast Land Conservancy for a community event celebrating the Gualala River and connect with those who are working to protect it.

At 2:00 PM, attend a panel discussion featuring RCLC and scientists from Prunuske Chatham, Inc. and the California Department of Fish and Wildlife, who will share early design concepts to improve fish habitat in the Gualala River estuary. This work is part of a collaborative restoration effort funded by CDFW’s Fisheries Restoration Grant Program. A Q&A session with the panelists will follow.

Throughout the afternoon, enjoy educational booths from local and state partners, historic and current river photos, the Gualala River Community Photo Contest winners, light refreshments, and a chance to connect with those safeguarding this vital watershed.
