The award acknowledges the essential role of the professional illustrator’s portfolio as a means of accessing new assignment possibilities and as a key communication tool with clients. A jury of sector specialists will select the illustrator with the best portfolio, from the participants in the portfolio reviews of The Illustrators Survival Corner.
The winner will receive a round trip ticket to the next Bologna Children’s Book Fair, 13 - 16 April 2026. All participants will receive a free access code to the 2026 Illustrators Wall.

El certamen y el premio tienen como objetivo destacar el papel del portafolio, un elemento imprescindible en la profesión del ilustrador/a, subrayando su función de llave de acceso a nuevas oportunidades profesionales y de principal instrumento de comunicación entre el ilustrador y sus clientes. Un jurado de profesionales seleccionará al ilustrador con el mejor portafolio de entre los participantes en las revisiones de portafolio de The Illustrators Survival Corner.
El ganador recibirá un viaje para acudir a la próxima Feria del Libro Infantil de Bolonia, del 13 al 16 de abril de 2026. Todos los participantes recibirán un código de obsequio para acceder al Illustrator’s Wall de 2026.
