Toby Beard is a powerhouse singer-songwriter from Western Australia, renowned for her soulful voice, magnetic stage presence, and emotionally charged performances. Blending folk, blues, roots, rock, and soul, Toby delivers shows that audiences don’t just hear — they feel. From intimate venues of 50 people to festival stages of 12,000, she commands attention with a rare combination of authenticity, energy, and storytelling.
With over two decades in the music industry, Toby has toured extensively across Australia, Europe, North America, and Canada, performing at major festivals including Summerfest (USA), Utah Pride Festival (USA), Kaslo Jazz Festival (Canada), Big Time Out Festival (Canada), Skagen Festival (Denmark), Bardentreffen (Germany), Zomerpodium Heemskerk (The Netherlands), Simmentaler Bier Fest (Switzerland), Bridgetown Blues Festival (WA, Australia), Mitchell Creek Rock & Blues Festival (QLD, Australia), and Forth Valley Blues Festival (Tasmania, Australia).
She has supported international and Australian icons such as Santana, Sheryl Crow, UB40, Gomez, John Butler Trio, Paul Kelly, The Indigo Girls, and Jimmy Barnes, and collaborated with acclaimed producers including Ryan Hadlock (The Lumineers, Vance Joy) and Carey Williams (Taj Mahal). Toby’s discography spans 11 albums, 2 live DVDs, and multiple EPs, reflecting her versatility and emotional depth. Her latest album, Here With Me, explores transformation, heartbreak, and hope, showcasing the fearless honesty that has become her signature.
Toby’s live performances have earned glowing media praise worldwide. A career-defining moment came in July 2025 when Toby and her five-piece band opened for Carlos Santana in Germany, performing to 12,000 people. Santana personally invited Toby on stage for a full-circle moment that reflected her teenage dreams of performing on the world stage.
