Mother Nature appears to be working with us this year. Koontz Lake Winterfest 2026 is officially scheduled, and we are looking forward to another great turnout! Dust off your snowmobile and see what it’s got.
It will take place Saturday, February 7th at Kramer’s Beach on Koontz Lake. Our team will be on site all day setting up, cooking, and getting everything ready. Festivities begin at noon.
This is a family-friendly, community event, and all proceeds and donations go right back into the community. Last Winterfest raised $1,500 for the Koontz Lake Fire Department—let’s beat that number this year. Donations appreciated but not expected
What to expect:
• food and hot cocoa for the community and spectators (while supplies last)
• Ice skating and a hockey area for the kids
• Bonfire to warm up
• Music throughout the day
Welcome vehicles
• Snowmobiles
• Four-wheelers
• Side-by-sides (SxS)
*ALL MUST BE REGISTERED*
We will have two snowmobile lanes measuring 500 feet for side-by-side runs. Bring your fast sleds—and hope you brought enough. Multiple classes will be offered so everyone can participate and have a good time.
This event is free, open to everyone, and designed to get people outside to enjoy winter together.
Fast sleds, good food, music, and a great cause, what more could we ask for?
Parking for trailers is limited, but several local businesses are working with us to help accommodate parking needs.
If you have any questions, feel free to send me a message.
