Break Break Swing

We will be running a beginner and intermediate lesson at 6:30, so if you have never danced before join us for our beginner lesson!! Social dance goes from 7:30-9:30.

Balboa is a partnered swing dance that originated in the 1930s in Southern California. Join us to learn the basics and start your journey social dancing! In this ongoing weekly progressive lesson we will teach you the basics of balboa and get you out on the dance floor. No experience or partner necessary.

We highly recommend registering for 3 lessons at a time using the Grover Beach Parks & Rec website. Our lessons build on each other and are best enjoyed in sets of three. We help beginners get started with the basics and build up & fine tune the skills of our intermediate dancers. Stick around afterwards to practice and enjoy 2 hours of social dancing on the beautiful floor of the Grover Beach Community Center!
