Matt Texter @ Big Rail Brewing

Matt Texter is a singer-songwriter and roots musician based in Erie. Born into a family of farmers, steel workers, and preachers, he gravitated early toward traditional American music styles, blending elements of country, folk, blues, and gospel into his work. Over the years he has self-released several albums and EPs—including *Hangin’ On*, *Take The Back Roads*, *Barstools and Church Pews*, and *Live: As Usual*—showcasing his soulful baritone and homespun songwriting. A familiar presence on the local music scene, Texter has built a dedicated following performing throughout the region and has shared stages with acclaimed regional and national artists.
