10th Annual Bumpers & Books: A Literary Trunk-or-Treat!

Saturday, October 18, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Join the Groton Public Library for our tenth annual Bumpers & Books: A Literary Trunk-or-Treat! Library staff, volunteers, and community members will be on hand in the back parking lot to give out treats from the trunks of their vehicles, decorated to represent books, authors, or Dewey Decimal call numbers. From Alice in Wonderland and The Lorax to Dogs (636.7) and Motorcycles (629.2275), don't miss our book-tacular display of trunks!

There will be balloon artistry, crafts, face painting, tattoos, and a free lunch. Attendees may also wander our Book Patch and select a free, brand-new book, take photos in the Picture Patch, and play lawn games. Bumpers & Books is free and open to the public.
