Book Signing with Devotional Author Ashley Buchanan from Iowa

Ashley Buchanan, Author of "90 Reflections From God, From Iowa, From Me" will be visiting Eagle's Nest Christian Bookstore in Oskaloosa on SATURDAY, OCT. 4TH FROM 10AM-4PM.

Life is hard. Life is messy. In today's fast paced world it can be so tough to slow down and appreciate the journey along the way. The goal of this devotional is to be an encouragement for those who may be struggling not only to keep your chin up but also to make Christianity simpler. Whether you are a new Christian or have been a Christian for years we can all relate to similar experiences and struggles. The good news is God and the Bible are not a thing of the past. The truths found in the Bible are still relevant and applicable to today. God is not as distant as you may think. Hopefully after reading this devotional you will cultivate a stronger, deeper relationship with God. In addition, hopefully you will be inspired to discover more about yourself, chase your dreams and goals, learn to love yourself more and claim victory in your life. Ashley Buchanan enjoys a simple life in a small town in Iowa with her four dogs. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, writing, spending time with family and friends, or activities outdoors. Ashley's biggest passion is the subject of goal setting and chasing down dreams. She aspires to help others do the same so they can learn to enjoy the life they are given. Ashley believes God is present and accessible to those who seek Him. She wants to help others be bold enough to take the necessary steps to approach Him and claim the victory you desire.

Ashley is now engaged and lives in Atlantic, Iowa with her fiancé and stepson. They have two dogs and two cats. She likes to tend to their garden, read, write, spend time with family and friends in her spare time.
