Pumpernickel Sourdough Workshop

Come join in the sourdough fun and learn how to make delicious and nutritious Artisan Pumpernickel Sourdough Bread! This moist and flavorful bread makes excellent sandwiches or is a great accompaniment to soups and stews.

During this hands-on workshop, Lisa Kornhaus will walk you through the steps necessary to make your very own Pumpernickel Sourdough Bread. This workshop includes all the ingredients needed to make a round/ boule to take home and bake in your oven.

Each participant will receive an active sourdough starter and will learn how to feed and maintain their starter for future bakes.
Lisa will also share tips about using whole grains in sourdough breads.

Pumpernickel and Rye Sourdough Breads will be available for sampling, along with Galena Garlic Company’s flavorful olive oils and balsamic vinegars!
