In this exciting session, join textile artist Holly Capstick from Thread and Press CIC to create beautiful floral artwork. You will learn how to layer fabrics to create simple but effective backgrounds using a loose applique and fabric collage technique.
You will then explore floral images to create a plan for your design and experiment with free-motion machine embroidery to create stunning floral embroidery designs. Add some optional embellishment and hand-embroidery too.
All materials and sewing machines are provided. No sewing experience required - beginners welcome.

Please note, this venue is stairs access only.
This is an adult course for students aged 16 + (or aged 13 if accompanied by an adult). Maximum of 8 places available.
