The Osprey House Team are joining the Queensland Wader Study Group to host a celebration of the arrival of our migratory shorebirds.
Borys Daniljchenko, a member of the QWSG, self proclaimed sucker for shorebirds, photographer and retired educator will be running an insightful workshop to share his knowledge and passion for these feathered global citizens.
Borys' most rewarding professional career high was being seconded to open the first Environmental Education Center at Jacobs Well. After twelve years of mud ,mangroves, boats, and working with a passionate team of environmental educators, he's now focusing some of his time on raising awareness for the plight of shorebirds.
You'll learn about local and migratory species, uncover the challenges faced by these courageous creatures and hone your bird watching and identification skills.
