Life Line Screening 🏥 will be here at Gretna American Legion Post 216 on Friday, December 5, 2025 📅, offering safe, painless, non-invasive preventive health screenings that are typically not a part of a routine physical. Screenings include:
🔸Carotid Artery Disease:
Occurs when plaque builds up in the carotid arteries and is a major risk factor for stroke.
🔸Peripheral Arterial Disease:
Occurs when the arteries that supply blood to the legs and feet are narrowed by plaque. This can lead to pain and tissue death.
🔸Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm:
When the aorta, located in the belly region, stretches or balloons, it can lead to a rupture or leak which requires emergency medical attention.
🔸Atrial Fibrillation:
An irregular heartbeat, also known as arrhythmia. AFib sometimes leads to other complications like blood clots.
