Gretna BMX’s 600 Point Louisiana State Championship Final Weekend…
- Race for Life Single Point Race, Friday October 10, 2025. Track opens at 6pm for pedal bike practice and registration. Registration closes at 6:45pm. Balance Bike practice starts at 6:45pm until racing starts. Racing for 7pm. Certificate awards only, no saver stamps. $10 per bike, $5 per balance bike. No “free races”. No discounted second bike.
-Louisiana State Championship Final Double Point Pre-Race, Saturday, October 11, 2025. Track opens at 1pm for pedal bike practice and registration. Registration closes at 2:45pm. Balance Bike practice starts at 2:45pm until racing starts. Racing for 3pm. 1st through 3rd awards only by BML Trophies & Awards. $20 race fee per pedal bike, $10 per balance bike. No “free races” or discounted second bike.
- Louisiana State Championship Final Triple Point Race, Sunday, October 12, 2025. Track opens at 9am for pedal bike practice and registration. Registration closes at 10:45am. Balance Bike practice starts at 10:45am until racing starts. Racing for 11am. 1st through MEQ awards only by BML Trophies & Awards. $40 race fee per pedal bike, $20 per balance bike. No “free races” or discounted second bike. State Plate and Backpack presentation will start immediately after Main Events end and scores are totaled up.
- Registration will be at the track only. We do not do online preregistration. We will have two registration windows available. Registration slips must be filled out before going to the registration window. Cash/Credit accepted for registration. 5% service charge for all card transactions.
-Full Concessions available under the tent next to registration. Cash/Credit accepted for concessions. 5% service charge for all card transactions.
-Pit areas are available inside or outside the fence, see our volunteers for location. You can leave your tents, chairs, etc. on site... However, the City of Gretna/Gretna BMX is not responsible for any items left on site at anytime.
-NO rental/loaner bikes will be available.
-NO pets allowed in the park.
-NO smoking or Vaping inside the fence.
-NO “One Day Trial Memberships” during the weekend events.
-Balance bike riders must be 2 years of age or older (City of Gretna Rule) and can only be accompanied by one parent on the track.
-Riders only on the track. Parents and Spectators must stay behind the 4’ fence.
-Only riders and parents accompanying a rider 6 years of age or under are allowed on the starting hill at all times.
-Riders, no stopping on the track or on side the track. No riding above the white lines on the berms, No cutting off the track unless instructed by staff, No “rolling” the gate.
