The Posadas: The Best Christmas Pageant Ever

This year at Our Lady of the Greenwood, the Hispanic ministries of the parish will be hosting "Las Posadas" for five nights in a row, from December 19th till December 23rd, from 7PM until 9PM in the gymnasium. The Posadas are a four hundred year old pageant which re-enacts the journey of Joseph and Mary to Bethlehem. There will be special traditions, music, traditional food and games, and many pinatas spread out over the five nights, with a good time for all. The whole parish is invited for all the Posadas, and the last one on the 23rd will be larger and fully bi-lingual with even more to do. Put the Christ back in Christmas, and the anticipation back in Advent, and consider coming to one or two (or all) of the Posadas this year.
