Rivanna Contra Dance - May 15th

Please join us on Friday, April 17th, Band TBD, Caller TBD.

Contra dancing is a style of folk dance made up of long lines of couples. This is a beginner-friendly dance with a 30-minute lesson at the beginning, and a caller who gives direction for each dance throughout the night. You can choose to dance either role, as the Lark (left side) or the Robin (right side). Bring yourself, bring your friends! We love seeing new faces!

Entry fee is $10-20 on a sliding scale.

The beginner's lesson will be from 7pm to 7:30pm. The main dance is from 7:30pm to 10pm.

Masks are optional.

Please park directly in front of the building.
