Meet Emma, a 3-year-old who was born at 23 weeks and weighed 14.5 ounces.
She survived a severe brain bleed at birth and has been diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy and Drug-Resistant Epilepsy. Despite being on four medications, her seizures remain uncontrolled.
Her medical team has suggested stem cell therapy, which is not covered by insurance.
