Topics:
Direct seeding vs. transplanting.
Timing and spacing of planting.
Techniques for planting seeds and seedlings.
Bring seeds packets to participate in a class wide seed exchange!
Class #4: Preserve Your Garden
Topics:
Harvesting techniques for peak flavor and nutrition.
Canning, drying, freezing, and fermenting produce.
Seed saving basics.
Participants will participate in a simple preservation project to take home with them!
