Public Schools 101 Workshop

This workshop aims to help local business and community leaders in Pitt County understand the importance of our public school system and how it affects them. Topics covered in the workshop include: strong schools build strong economies, today's students are tomorrow's workforce, your voice shapes the future of public education, partnerships between schools and businesses fuel innovation and growth and how public schools are funded at the federal, state and local levels. Thriving public schools benefit not just students and teachers, but also businesses and communities that rely on a strong, well-educated workforce. Support from the community helps ensure that public schools have the support they need to reach their full potential and prepare the next generation for success.
