Conversations on Conservation | Presented by Sharon Penton

Sharon Penton is a graduate of University College London, where she received her Master’s degrees in Principals of Conservation and Conservation for Museums and Archaeology. Since 2008, she has worked as a conservator. She has held positions at both the British Museum and the Smithsonian Institution, National Museum of African American History and Culture. She has recently undergone a project with the Upcountry History Museum conserving a horse-drawn hearse from the turn of the twentieth century. Conservation work is a cornerstone to the preservation of history and the maintenance of museums. Learn more about conservation principles at this special Lunchbox Learning.
