Greenville CAN October Lunch & Learn - Agape's Hand Autism Services

Join us on Thursday, October 9, 2025 at the Kroc Center Greenville (424 Westfield St, Greenville, SC 29601) for our October Lunch & Learn featuring Agape's Hand Autism Services.

Agape's Hand Autism Services was founded by Josh Abdo in 2018 to serve individuals with Autism in upstate South Carolina. Their Personalized Behavioral Services are designed to enable individuals to develop new skills and strategies to navigate social interactions, communication, and daily living activities with the ultimate goal of increasing independence. In the area of Family Services, Agape's Hand Autism Services also offers guided respite care and respite getaway opportunities.

Agape's Hand Autism Services also offer Group Services, including Autism Connection Outings. These social events for individuals with Autism promote building social skills, connecting with peers and engaging with the community. The Outings are tailored to meet the specific needs and interests of individuals with Autism, while focusing on creating a safe and supportive environment. For example, sensory-friendly outings can help those who are hypersensitive to noise or light to feel comfortable, while also providing opportunities for social interaction. Past outings have included attending a baseball game, grocery shopping and cooking together, eating out with money-management, music trivia, bowling, grilling out, and more. Parent Support Circles are also available.

Greenville CAN Lunch & Learn events are free however, registration is required. If your plans change and you are later unable to attend, we kindly ask that you cancel your registration. Lunch will be generously provided by Carolina Drive In.

You can attend the event either in-person or virtually. The Zoom link will be sent out 30 - 60 minutes prior to the event.
