An hour lunch break (on your own) is scheduled in.
Subjects include: Biology of the honeybee, equipment needed to get started,
inspecting the hive, what to look for in the hive, pests & diseases, a year in the
life of a honeybee colony, including harvesting and extracting honey.
Instructor: Tim Lindley, 45+ years of beekeeping experience.
Starter Hives will be available for purchase, and we will have a signup sheet for packages and nucleus colonies.
