CrisisReady Howard County - October Home Fire Prevention and Response

Learn home fire prevention and response from your local fire department! This event has the extra bonus of featuring the county’s Smokehouse, an interactive vehicle that allows you real practice in exiting a smoky environment caused by a fire. As always, free disaster supplies are available for participants. This month features a fire blanket kit as the door prize.
Plus! Learn Hands-Only CPR From American Red Cross. The odds of someone surviving a cardiac emergency decreases by 10% every minute. Bystanders performing CPR triples the chance of survival. In this short class, you will learn how to perform Hands-Only CPR and deliver life-saving care until professional responders arrive. Includes hands-on learning!
