The Double Happiness return to the 4120!

Beloved Brisbane sonic explorers The Double Happiness are returning with their third album "Spacetime' (out Fri 12 Sep through the great 4000 Records), and to celebrate hitting the 4120 for one of their patented good-time instore extravaganzas!

'Spacetime' is a fully energised listening adventure, which speaks to the live recording process used - a first for the band. The fun-filled trip was inspired by an eclectic mix of 1960’s tv & films, unusual journeys and quirky encounters, delivering a very familiar sense of nostalgia, combined with new dimensions to songwriting and arrangements. The album opens with Adele Pickvance (The Go-Betweens) on vocals, providing an official welcome and cementing her place in the lineup.

They're a wonderful Brisbane institution and good times are virtually guaranteed, and as ever it's free and all ages so we'll catch you in the badlands of Stones Corner!

NB the album launch proper for 'Spacetime' is at the Old Museum on Sat 20 Sep with support from the ever-rad Keep On Dancin's!
