Steer Clear: Decide to Drive Sober

UNCG Homecoming 2025 is quickly approaching, and we’re excited to celebrate with you! Register NOW for Steer Clear: Decide to Drive Sober at https://police.uncg.edu/treds.

Join us on Wednesday, October 15th, at 5 p.m., in Room 212 at the UNCG Police Department at 1200 West Gate City Blvd. Participants will learn about the risks and consequences of impaired driving, alcohol by volume and blood alcohol content, effects of alcohol and cannabis on driving, impaired driving laws in North Carolina, DWI checkpoint procedures, and strategies to promote safe driving. Let’s celebrate #SpartanSafe this Homecoming!

The #TREDS (Transportation, Research, and Education for Driving Safety) program is designed for students, staff, faculty, and the campus community.
