SONGWRITERS IN THE ROUND: Tony Steen & Josh Watson

Tony Steen got a taste of fame with The Cheepskates, the renowned garage/psych/power-pop band from NYC which he formed in the early 1980’s. Since going solo in 1998, Tony has released an impressive array of albums. He has performed throughout the USA, plus Liverpool, England and western Europe. His songs capture a timeless spirit and energy, of plaintive beauty and imagery. The sound is a sonic cocktail of Neil Young and Big Star.

Since 2010, with his band & as a solo artist, songwriter Josh Watson has performed in venues and festivals all over the Southeast, sharing the stage with artists like Grammy Award winning Texas trio Los Lonely Boys, Paul Thorn, Zach Deputy, The Hackensaw Boys & David Childers.
