OSR is hosting an interest meeting for Beat the Heat: An Investigation on the Importance of Urban Trees in Greensboro.
October 22, 6-7 pm, Kathleen Clay Edwards Family Branch Library
This Free Greening STEM Project is for middle school students interested in combining their love of the outdoors and science to help contribute to a healthier and greener Greensboro! Over the course of the school year, students will be actively engaged in learning about trees including form and function, identification, measurement, and the ecosystem services they provide.
Student and their guardians are invited to join us for an interest meeting on getting involved! Light refreshments will be provided.
