The Silent Book Club is a space for those who love reading books and discussing them with friends but dislike the pressures that come with a book club like finishing a book every month, keeping up with other people's paces and always having to come up with something to say.
Bring a book or whatever you're reading and join us! We do not all have to be reading the same thing and we do not all have to participate. The goal is to create a space for people who love books to simply do that, continue to love them and share that feeling with others in our community.
The setup of the afternoon will be the following:
12:00-12:10pm - Arrival + mingling, if people want to share what they're reading.
12:10-1:10pm - Silent, uninterrupted reading time.
1:10-1:30pm - Some time allotted for those who want to continue to share what they're reading and chat/connect with others.
But really, no pressure on any part of this! It's the book club we've always wanted.
