This Friday, January 2, join us for couple dancing (mostly waltz) to the exciting music of:
Rebecca Weiss (fiddle), Rose Jackson (fiddle) and Mary Cay Brass (piano)!!!
This is, of course, at the Guiding Star Grange in Greenfield.
The dance will be preceded by a waltz workshop led by Richard and Meggie; this will be another intermediate workshop focusing on pivots and hesitation(also called balance step). We plan on working pivots into a few of the steps you commonly use in your waltzing—which steps those will be depend on what your default steps are. Balances can be incorporated into any step, but work well with pivots.
7:00-7:50: waltz workshop to recorded music
8:00-10:30: couple dancing to the inspiring music of Mary Cay, Rebecca and Rose!
$20 for as much of the evening as you wish to enjoy. If you bring someone new you get in for $10 each!
Masks optional, but please, if you are sick or someone in your household has Covid or flu, please stay home and return another time.
