About this course:
C.T.E. for Corrections is the only adult-learning, human-performance-based training program specifically designed for Corrections Training Officers (CTOs). In this 24-hour certification course, participants are introduced to Command Presence’s Coach, Train, then Evaluate Model© for training new personnel. Created by Corrections Officers for Corrections Officers, this course emphasizes how CTOs train, not just how to evaluate. It features entirely new performance criteria based on 21st-century corrections work. When applied correctly, the C.T.E. Model© boosts recruit performance, lowers washout rates, ensures consistency among your CTOs, and decreases CTO burnout. It’s time to rethink CTO training; this is your chance to be part of the long-overdue change.

The Science of how people learn
Communication strategies and generational leadership
Applying the C.T.E. Model© - Definitions, timelines, and best practices
The CTO as Coach, Leader, Tactician, and Evaluator

Newly created Essential Evaluation Categories and CTO software systems
