The Recovery Awareness and Memorial Walk is a time to:

• Honor the memory of those lost to addiction.
• Raise awareness about recovery and prevention resources.
• Reduce stigma surrounding substance use disorders.
About the Event
Join us for Green Bay’s Third Annual Recovery Awareness and Memorial Walk, a meaningful event to celebrate recovery, raise awareness about substance use disorders, and honor those lost to addiction. This community gathering unites individuals, families, and organizations to promote hope, healing, and remembrance.
The event includes a memorial walk through Leicht Park, inspiring guest speakers, and a lantern release at dusk to symbolize hope and remembrance. Open to all who wish to support recovery, reduce stigma, and honor those impacted by addiction.
What to Expect
• Memorial Walk: A short, accessible walk around Leicht Park to honor those in recovery and remember those lost. Wear comfortable shoes and dress for the weather.
• Lantern Release: Biodegradable lanterns available. Personalize your lantern with messages to celebrate recovery or honor loved ones.
• Resource tables: Connect with local organizations offering recovery support, mental health services, and community resources.
• Speakers: Hear stories of resilience from individuals in recovery, family members, and advocates.
How to Participate
• Attend: No registration required—join us at Leicht Park!
• Sponsor the Event: Become a sponsor to support this community event. $50.00 gets company name listed at event and 1 walk Tshirt , $150.00 gets same as $50.00, plus name printed on back of T-shirt’s and $250.00 sponsorship gets same as previous plus logo printed on back of the walk tshirts.
