BCBA September Meeting- Special Guest American Bee Journal Editor Eugene Makovek

ABJ Editor Eugene Makovek will be our guest speaker. Come for the pre meeting Social from 5:30-6:30 to share some refreshments and bee stories. The regular meeting starts at 6:30.

Eugene will speak on “American Bee Journal and the Golden Age of Beekeeping,” which covers some of the momentous changes going on around the time of ABJ’s founding, with innovations from people like Langstroth, Root, Quinby, Dadant and others. It then follows a brief history of the magazine and its editors.
