About the Author:
Phil Nash has been a resident of Denver since 1976, where he played a pivotal role in establishing and later directing the Gay Community Center of Colorado (now known as The Center on Colfax).
He also co-founded and chaired the Colorado AIDS Project during the early 1980s, a critical time for the community. His extensive background as a journalist for publications like Out Front, Westword, and The Advocate further enriches his perspective on this vital history.
